The Buddy Werner League offers 2nd-8th graders the opportunity to enhance their love of skiing through recreational alpine ski racing. We focus on having fun, building skiing skills and teaching important life lessons like teamwork and sportsmanship. Our goal is to create a love of skiing that lasts a lifetime!
A native of Steamboat Springs, Buddy had a breakneck style which caused spectacular spills, but also enabled him to win virtually every championship available during his mercurial career.
Seven of our ski days are all-mountain days with some race training and skills building and three days will be devoted to racing.
